Ava, Emma and Olivia come here! These three baby names are the most popular girls’ names in the country. As for boys’ names, ranking most popular is Liam, with Noah coming in second, Oliver in third. This status was generated from the 2020 Social Security card application database.

Wesley and Brianna, on the other hand, have seen better days. They are last in the list of 1-100 most popular names of 2018. Back in 2017, Wesley didn’t make it onto the list but Brianna came in as the 85th most popular name. On the flip side, Liam and Olivia were the most popular baby names in 2017.

Although, some baby names will not be found in a popularity list. These baby names will be located under, most unique names.

Per Nameberry, the top two invented, word names for a baby girl, are Bohme and Poet. In this same category, the boy’s names are Beacon and Horizon.
