
The Black Father Initiative is a program that is available through United Way of Roanoke. The program is aimed specifically for black fathers and helps them to parent responsibly, provides them with support and resources, and helps them to overcome societal barriers. The program also educates policymakers on a local, state, and national level to understand the importance of the involvement of Black fathers.
