VPEP PARTICIPATES IN VIRGINIA IS FOR FATHERS EVENT
Together, VPEP, Virginia Healthy Start Initiative – Loving Steps, and Fathers in Training of Virginia Beach, hosted the sports themed virtual gathering for fathers, on June 17, 2021. An impressive count of 23 of 50 registered fathers, attended. The dads heard from five different presenters. Laphillda Davis, VPEP’s outreach coordinator shared information on the importance and benefits of establishing paternity, while also providing a visual of the Acknowledgement of Paternity and the Rights and Responsibility form.
